Thanks David... the great dane dog snores with great power! But we have a good sound system to compete... This was a night where having a real cinema next door to your living room is a great bonus

This is for the 3 Musketeers....(Larry, Les & Tom)
Please keep in mind that the live well
on my boat is only 1 foor wide and 3 feet long.....I didn't do as well as normal, but it is early and the water is still only 50F.
2 nice Black Crappies and 2 nice perch (11 inch perch are nothing to sneeze at!!!)

Maybe I will do better tomorrow if the wind stops.....
All have a safe and enjoyable evening.....

Good Morning from rainey Walker Lake....
Les - The two larger fish are "Black Crappies"
the larger one is about 12" and the other about
10. Extremely good eating fillets!!! The other "Snake
like" fish is the common "Lake Perch" think
mini-walleye, they are related. There are two
perch in the tank as well, about average 10" .
Preparation: Either fillet (my choice)or scale,
gut and trim the head then your choice of coating
and into the fry pay til golden brown.
I make a beer batter with a bit of flour, cracker
(saltene) crumbs, couple tbl spoons corn meal, pepper,
a sprinkle of paprika for a little zip! Mix all that
with your choice of beer to a consistency of pancake
batter, dredge the fish in egg, then the batter then
into the fry pan. I use canola oil and keep it to
just below smoke on the heat.....enjoy!!
Wifey sent me a "Honey-do" list in preparation of
her return....My batchelor life will cease this
Friday evening.......
Stay dry and safe....have a good day!

Good morning all ... thanks for the coffee ...

Bill, that is a nice catch of fish. Fried perch, that's the best.

Very foggy out and +1C.

Another 1:1 day. We are getting ready for a horse and wagon ride, 25 miles, on Saturday. This is a fundraiser called 2nd. Chance Trail Ride for "Organ Donation Awareness". Five of us that have had recent lung transplants and our families are organizing this event. This has a touch of railroad as we will be starting at the CN water tower in Heinsberg traveling the old rail line to Lindberg and back. There is an old CN station and a speeder to see.

Have a great day .....

morning all. tea, coffee and some fried potatos and eggs on the side.

club night tonight. so need to sort out stuff for that. i still cant find the dead porter and its box, its safe to asume my brother has taken it by mistake/asumed it was his and sold it (hes done that before with some of my british models, wants happy, still not happy about it) will try and find out what the deal is (my brother and i dont really get on, long story, not worth bothering you with)

so i found a box in the trash, my father recently brought a new 2nd hand van (from a drinks company, still smells of booze!) and it was the box from the roof rack clamp thing.. so thats one loco packed away safetly. need to cut some foam up to pack the pitkins and davenport.

that being said its easier said then done, lately the cat has been sitting on my chest/arm, every time i sit down. she follows me around and as soon as i sit, she jumps me.......

hopes everyone has a nice day1

Good afternoon!

Martin, you are a fine craftsman as well as modeler!

Have been editing a nature/music video this morning... nice change from the easel work. Not much going on at the modeling front, but I'm in no hurry. Will be ordering some boat fittings for the new ship.

Have a great day all!
