'Evnin all....finally settled down around here, everyone is fed & the lil guy is fast asleep... He had a great time at the zoo today and the following picture will show how he felt about having a great big "Juniors Famous Burgers" on Flatbush avenue this afternoon:
Actually, he shared Papa's (me) burger and helped with the steak fries too. Seemed to like them better than the carrots that were coming his way from that lady over there.....(mom)
The next picture is what he tried to convey anout the size of a great big Boa constrictor at the zoo:[:-bigeyes]
For less that 2 years he is a great lil kid and minds well (so far...) Tomorrow, we go to the Brooklyn Carousel for a ride, then the trip up to the lake for a couple days to see Papa's trins and maybe get out in the boat. All have a good night, Tait (lil guy) made my day....and probably will tomorrow too!! |

| Good evening everyone. I enjoyed a birthday dinner at Smokey Bones rib joint with the family. Bill those piranha don't scare me half as much as some of the Northern Pike we used to catch in the U.P. Talk about TEETH! But I wouldn't want to put my fingers in that tank. Those northern's don't put up much fight, it's like hooking a tree branch. I think that if you gave that grandson a slingshot and a sheepdog, he'd be the spittin' image of Dennis The Menace, hopefully he's not as much mischief, he's a very handsome lad, grandpa must be proud![:-angel] |

Rick, best wishes for the job evolution. Nice shots, Bill. The kid looks more friendly than the fish...

Good afternoon, everyone.
Had an unpleasant surprise waiting for me in the tool box this morning. A bottle of Mike's glue had developed a slow leak. The glue is about a year and a half old. Does the glue attack the bottle? For those more familiar with Mike's glue than I, is this unusual?
Mark
might do, but i suspect maybe something bashed it and cracked the bottle somewhere. i had something like that happen, but with epoxy, i lost a tool box, pencil, rule and a couple drill bits. thinking back, i should have just mounted it, and entered the turner prize...
afternoon all, checked in this morning, but wanted to get an early start for a change, been spending far too long on the computer really. been working away on my porter. did have an expensive morning though, but you gotta get dallas back on the road right?[:-bigeyes] [:-bouncy] all useful parts though. but i really must stop spending. trying to save for a laptop, and this trip to the states if that is still going to happen.
hope everyone has a nice day |

Good morning everyone, coffee is on so help yourself.
No modeling for me the last couple of days but hopefully will be able to get to the workbench on the weekend.
Geezer, the grandkid sure is cute and I know how fun they can be seeing as I have 2 of them (one 4 the other 2). Haven't seen those fish up here either.
Been thinking about helping Dallas get his car on the road. He has a couple of things I've been thinking about buying for awhile, might just be time to bite the bullet.
Have a great day everyone.

Bill, the grand son looks like a chip off the old block. For the fish I think I saw one last winter while ice fishing .. [:-bigeyes]
Steve you'll have to come up here fishing. Our "gators" give lots of fight.

Good morning everyone.
Thanks for the coffee Ron.
Cute grandkid you've got there Geezer. Sounds like the two of you are having a ball.
Thanks Andy and Frederic.
Going to be another hot one here today. Anyone looking forward to the cooler weather and getting more time to spend at the workbench? I'm dreading the thought of winter coming again and cringe every time I see a back to school ad or a story on the upcoming football season. All that means to me is that cold weather is just around the corner. I do hope to get some work done on some abandoned modeling projects.
Hope everyone has or had a great day. |

I don't think I could ever get that excited about a train. Scratch that, I know I could never get that excited about a train. |

Good grief!I wouldn't get that excited if I was flying in an F-22 with the Playmate of the Year.

I've been known to go a couple of hundred miles out of my away in an attempt to photograph a train, but I never get "that" excited.
