Good morning everyone and thanks for the coffee Andy.

Nice and cool here with the sun shining. Managed some time at the work bench last night and started another car kit. This time a gondola from Foothill Models, hopefully I can finish it tonight and then I'll have enough for a good run in the paint shop.

Geezer, hope the dishwasher does come today, I remember when we had to buy a new one because the old one moved out.

Have a great day everyone.

Good morning everyone.

Thanks for the coffee Andy.

Another beautiful sunny day here in Central Jersey.
I've got grocery shopping to do next, then some yardening and my weekly group ride tonight.

Geezer, good luck with the dish washer.

Anyone hear from Peter (swissraails) or Arthur?

Hope everyone has or had a great day.

Good evening to everyone hear in the states, good morning to those across the pond. I'm back from my adventure in time traveling.(reenacting at a timeline event). The weather cooperated, and while hot, it wasn't humid. I dressed as an 1890's logger, with a camp and display set up. The display focused on the river drives in the Saginaw Michigan area. While researching this in a book about Michigan log marks, I found out that between 1851 and 1894 an estimated 150,000,000 pine logs were boomed in the Saginaw area. I also helped my friends Chris and Matt hew a pine log with a broad axe, I love the smell of fresh cut pine. I also ran into Rosie the Riveter and Miss America 1944.[:-hearts] What a couple of swell gals!In honor of them there's some fresh baked apple pie in the lounge. Cheers, Tsp[:-cowboy]

Logging camp a Frankenmuth Heritage and heroics festival. From left to right, Matt ????; Christian Reynolds; myself. Matt and Chris were portraying soldiers in the pioneer corps during the civil war. I portrayed 1880s-1890s logging.

As a special treat for dessert tonight, here's some cheesecake. Here's what the boys were fighting for! On the right, Amy Mountain, and on the left, Tatania Topic. These pin up girls were selling calendars to raise money to provide guitars to veterans. ( they really had to twist my arm to make me buy that calendar....)

Morning all, cute ladies Steve ..mailman was friendly for me today. Package from Canada with 3 charts and the ailenee's tacky glue came in...
Got a question on this, when is it the most tackiest, do you need to let it dry for a moment ? Got both versions the original and the fast one..

Have a nice day !

Postman was good to me as well!
2 sets of rivet decals from Micromark and a 'toy loco' ( which sneaked past the customs man )from Biglars.
Now I can complete the vertical boiler loco as the loco also came with an oil Lamp.
Separate pm on its way to Larry.

Good morning everyone.

Coffee and hot water are ready. Don't think we've had french toast in a while so I whipped some up along with sides of bacon, sausage and pork roll.

Steve, looks like you had a good time.
Would have shaved before coming to the lounge if I knew there were ladies present.

Martin, I've only used the original and didn't let it sit before using and found it to be plenty tacky enough.

Another beautiful sunny day here and I hope it is where you are too.

Hope everyone has or had a great day.

Good morning everyone and thanks for the coffee Rick.

Cool and sunny here today. Cool pictures Steve and the ladies are stunning.

Martin, I too only use the original and find it plenty tacky right out of the bottle.

The running around I did last night took longer than expected so only managed a little time at the bench where I worked on the Foothill Model's gondola. Another good evening at the bench and I should get it finished.

Have a great day everyone.

morning all, thanks for coffee and french toast rick.

David, its good to hear the whole toy train thing is working, ive never had a problem with toy/craft etc so its nice to see it work for someone else :D hopefuly it works the other way around (sold some stuff for a friend, one loco went to the states)

martin, ive got a tube of it from the local craftshop, i find i just use it right from the bottle and its plenty tacky, but gets really tacky in about 3-5 mins.
