Good morning ... coffee is on. Teaspoon thanks for the apple crumble.
Not much new here. Been playing with bids for an Porter 0-4-2 but no luck. Won an 0-4-0 with sound a while back. Runs like a dream.
I think I hear the lawn mover calling me.
Have a great day ..... |

Good morning everyone.
Thanks for the coffee Tom.
Geezer, looks like the Mrs. did real good.
David, thanks for the pics. That critter would be a nice addition to this month's photography gallery.
Steve, I guess you never know who you might bump into.
Been a busy day running errands. Haircut, grocery shopping , library and post office so far. Need to go out in a bit and hit one more store. Looks like my weekly Tuesday night group ride will be a rain out.
Thanks for all the warnings about the dog and the deer. Believe me, I don't like it when she does it. That's why I use the path through the park that has the least chance of seeing any deer.
Hope everyone has or had a great day. |

Andy, What are you using for a matt coat? I don't suffer the frustration that seems to irk you. David |

Evening all! Have spent half the day shooting video footage of the interior of a local water grist mill, still working full time. Strange to walk on floors covered with a 3/4 inch thick layer of flour, hearing the water under the floor, the wooden and cast iron machinery, 170 years of dust covering the cobwebs.... I hate the often sterile museum mills, but this is the real thing. Will go back several time to get more material for a short documentary. High spirit!!
Now heading for the train shed...
Have a great day/evening all! |

Well, I will try again....I gues my first post didnt make it through. Can anyone help me find these small metal clips: about .500 in long about .125 in wide at the wide end about .062 in wide at the tip They are smooth tipped, not like the mini alligator clips that are available.... They have a small spot on the rear end that you can solder a wire to. The other end (the clip) would be shaped like that of a bottle nosed dolphin. I have seen them used for connecting wires to the card edge clips of the tortoise machines, I just cant find them, because I dont know what they are called. No jokes please.....(about dolphins) Thanks in advance for any help. |

I'm tempted to ask why we can't make jokes about dolphins ... but I'm just gonna let it slide! Good luck finding the clips. |
