Good morning all .. thanks for the coffee David.
Rick, I am like you, very quiet on the Railroad. That is the way it will be for the next three months with summer activities.
I guess there are no updates on the Heisler?
Have a great day .... |

Sounds like you had a blast Andy! Tomorrow I'm attending a Monument Dedication in Monroe Michigan, the Monument is in honor of Monroe County's Civil War Soldiers, along with Colonel Norman Hall, and General George Armstrong Custer. Then Sunday it's off to Greenfield Village in Dearborn for Civil War days, and while there I'll tour the Titanic Exhibit at the Henry Ford Museum. There are some nice locomotives at GFV and the Henry Ford. But of course, the heat will be 92 on Sunday when I put the wool on . If it is 90 degrees in Michigan there must be a reenactment somewhere. I'll keep my canteen full of cool water. There are ice cream sundaes in the lounge.

Hi all thanks for the ice cream Steve. I have completed all of the boring parts of my Magical Mystory Tour micro story and wrapped up the loose ends. Now the real fun can begin. |

Haven't stopped in for a while, I rook a bad fall the other day and hurt my shoulder and my knee. Had to take a trip to the ER for some X-rays, nothing broken but sore and can't move without my walker. Put a big daper on my packing and modeling.

Good morning everyone.
Thanks for the coffee and breakfast Andy.
Just finished a bike ride and now I need a little nap before getting ready to go back to work. Fortunately for me it's Friday again.
I have been following everyone's progress on their layouts and instead of replying to all the threads individually I'll just give all of you a big [:-thumbu] here.
Mark, hope you're OK.
Hope everyone has or had a great day. |

Mark - take care and I hope you get well soon.
Good to see the modelling news from you guys. I am now planning the next extension to our layout and working out the logistics of baseboard construction. I had used L-Girder for the top deck on three sides of the room but that takes up a lot of depth when coming to the separation between levels for the lower deck. I've used L-Girder almost since the time Linn Westcott wrote his book about it all those many years ago. Sometimes we can get too set in our ways. [:-banghead]
