It has been four years since we have devoted a Gallery Theme to our detailing efforts. It is once again time to showcase those detail items that we add to our models or place around them. So, show us your details!

If you have a prototype photo that gives great detailing ideas, post it, too.

I once again caution everyone to keep copyright issues in mind. If you didn't take the picture, it isn't yours to post. Links to photos on the web are allowed, however.

In consideration for those on dial-up, please keep your photos to 80KB or smaller.

this is a table that will go into a scene out the front of a trailer.

this the back of mt garage.

the main "blocks" of detail started with rustyrail castings as a base, with a number of different bits added to them

and this simple pile of trash, seems to have become peoples favorite spot on my layout.

"Is it really "rivet counting" if it's regarding NBW castings?"

Passengers on the platform and town sidewalks, vines and signs on the walls, tractors on a flatcar and angled number boards on the RS3 help add detail to my fictitious town of North Dover located along the Boston and Maine.

Same scene looking the other way.

A portable fan is nice to have around the shop on a hot day ...

And a window fan helps too ...

Of course, in a building with only two walls, all this worry about air circulation seems just a wee bit stupid! [:-blindfold]

The 30's wrecker here has reinforced card stock wrenches (in 1/87!) from VectorCut and some of the barn details are from Rusty Stumps.
