Very nice job on the water wheel, Richard. This is the kind of thing that really impresses me about this hobby! Looking forward to seeing more of the build.

Off to a nice start, Richard.

The water wheel looks terrific. One would think that you have some mechanical drawing and IA experience in your background.

Well Richard, if this finely crafted water wheel is any indication of how the rest is going to turn out, it will be fantastic!
Are you going to motorize this wheel?
I think it would be terrific looking if the wheel was spinning.

Awesome and impressive, Richard. [:-thumbu] [:-thumbu] [:-thumbu]

Looking forward to watching your progress.

Coincidentally, it was my architectural drafting teacher that started me in building MRR structures.

Best wishes and good luck on your build.

Richard- A great start. What are the little strips of blue tape doing in the first pic? (hope this fits within the "no such thing as a dumb question" criteria).

Mike...the blue strip is painters tape to temporarily hold the building together until
I do the siding. Just a design check to see how everything fits....

Hi Richard, what an impressive design. The setting you've created will result in a gorgeous diorama with tremendous water features. I really like the cleanliness of your work! Will this diorama eventually find its way onto your layout? [:-apple][:-apple]
