Martin, the new additions really make things come to life. Really like the hand lettering on the boxcar as well. Pat

Really like how the vegetation "interferes" with our view of the train ... adds so much realism and makes it feel right!

i would "asume" (because i dont know myself)

around the base of pullings. and or everywhere since your railroad is so close to the coast. i added a lot of brown tuffs under my loading docks because they just looked strange bare, so i dont mind if it was wrong or not.

but nice work on the tunnel mouth and wall!

Marty - I might suggest that only the "outer perimeter of the pilings
would have any kind of growth, as the sun wont get to far into the underside. I wouldnt put any
grass very far back either....but...you could put some bits of paper & maybe a couple
of twigs & the like that have blown under the deck....toss around some fine gravel
and a few small pieces of stone.....but not a lot....should be pretty barren under there....
a mouse? a squirrel?.....let your mind roll......

Martin, Bill's got it right. Nothing grows under the deck where the sun doesn't shine.

Marty,
I will go along with the Geez on this one...grasses and weeds on the sun sides of the building around the footings. As it gets further inside...more towards dirt. Lots of good places to store junk and litter, if its up front here's your chance to place that bike or trike, maybe an ol't tub, or some tires.

There will always be a weed or two where the sun reaches the ground - maybe under a broken board, and definitely near the edges. Scraps of paper and leaves will have been blown underneath, and you can add pieces of junk as well. I can't wait to see how you treat it.
