ooh this is nothing martin, you should see the whole club in person, often we'll be yelling, name calling, sometimes it gets physical. all in good spirit.

so another busy evening at club. we learnt that one of our g scalers, syd, won a prize for model of prototipical engine.

i did yet more. yes, ballasting so nothing much to report on that, however we did finaly make a start on something scenic, we laid down the frame work for the station platform

once again else where the club was buzzing with activty.

its really cool isnt it? a change of pace we feel for most layouts we've seen in the uk, short and tall tressles. it looks bigger in the photo then it is. if i remember rightly nick#2's layout and my layout will be going along oneside and fill all of it, my layout is 6 foot so the same size as those brown tables, and i think nick's layout is 24 foot long of something like that.

well concidering we've gone from "lets have 2 scenic boards plus fiddle yard" to having 5 total. it may well grow, now what we also have extra storage in a brick outside shed too. indeed the idea of a corner board/boards has been sudgested a few times so who knows!
