Thank you Mr.Palmer.
Even though I am building a model of Titanic, your Port San Luis Pier Warehouse project has made my project, seem quite small.
And with each post you add, this warehouse keeps looking more & more impressive!

Ah ha!. You reveal your joke at last!

My warehouse is nowhere near the same class of quality or detail, or size for that matter, as your Titanic model, but I appreciate your encouragement and kind words.

One more thing,I have changed my mind about not showing you any photo's of the lighting of this ship.
Here is one that I will wet your appetite with,a sneak peek of the first class skylight over the first class Grand stairway.

What a terrific shot, Greg. The lighting is impressive. Now for a tough question...will this model stand on its own...or will you be making a massive diorama to display in its natural habitat!

Yes Greg, build at least a part of the iceberg.

Beautiful little diorama Popz. Untidy, but still active.

Really nice work Mark, on that shed & scene.

Mike,I plan to place the model in a see through acrylic cover with a wooden base.
This will be the best for keeping it clean/dust free over time.

John, Greg I appreciate your comments. I learned a lot doing this challenge and following along with the many builds. It has given me confidence to try a bigger project.'

Did you consider painting the railroad track with fresh rust on the railhead to show a track that had not been used in a couple of days? That effect is not often modelled.

No I hadn't thought of that but it sure makes sense. Thanks for the info I'll try it tomorrow. probably not solid but sort of random.

Greg, your display setting is very deserving of such an impressive model. [:-star][:-star][:-star]

Mark, isn't it amazing just how many elements can be squeezed into a small diorama? Great job on the completed project! [:-thumbu][:-thumbu]

Popz, if you do that, the rust is somewhat patchy and quite a bright red-orange almost (or so they tell me) with none of the brown commonly associated with older rust, maybe you have seen it in person.
