Now thats looking pretty good Mario, tho it looks like there may be are more goods than store?[:-idea] Youv'e got to finish it soon and then the storekeep can have a big Grand Opening sale![:-party] GOOD JOB MARIO!!
the next spot on my layout I'm thinking of a General Store/Repair Garage scene, like yours tho it takes alot of detail parts/$$$

I'm happy to see all the progress you've made. Try not to stress about finishing. I know I stress about way too many things and have made it a priority to control my stress. Quietly working on all those details must be a great stress reliever. |

Randy. Opening day is a long way off, but there will be a SALE 50% off everything ( after I add 50% to normal price )
Mike. At times I wonder why rubber gauger's get into various scales. Maybe our attention span is limited to work on one thing at a time. [:-apple]
John & Wes... thanks guys
Rick. How ya doing mate. I study the work of many modelers including chuck D, Nolan, Revelia etc. The list is too long. On days when I feel like crap, I pickup a detail part and see what I can do with it. The work by Anders in recent times, finally inspired me to try the sponge painting method on my 1:24 jerry cans and then I had to put them somewhere. This old project was perfect to give them a home. In hindsight, I would have been better to enjoy my holidays with a beer and meat pie in hand , in front of the telly, relaxing and watching Dr Phil

That looks great! Is the building a Thomas Yorke kit?

That's really cool! I like the placement of the building at an angle to the fencing ... the conversion to 1:24 ... all the stuff ... and junk ... and other junk and so forth. Please let us know as there are updates! [:-thumbu] |

Hey M
You mentioned the sponge technique on the jerry cans. Could elaborate a bit more or perhaps steer me to a website showing the technique.
Thanks alot. |
