Looks great, Martin. One of my favorites of cars you’ve built.

Thanks!

On to the next one in the queue....another caboose! Fancy that happening...except that I had a crate of them waiting for their time in the shop.

Got a body shell and a nice styrene/ABS cupola but nothing else.

Yes, somebody, not me, did a very nice job on this shell. Probably what got me to buy it whenever and wherever that happened. Hopefully, I'll be able to put a floor into it and add the needed details to make it completed enough for somebody else.

I was typing about the bobber, got distracted, and you slipped this 'new one' in. It is cool too!

Building up a floor....and the ends with the detail parts and railings. End sills were made from 4 resin castings cut up and reassembled to get the right car width. Steps and brake casting from the parts bins; resin bolsters cast by me; wood from the supply boxes. Tool box is a wood block skinned in styrene with a Train Craft casting. Some scribed siding for the platforms...cranking this one right along.

It even fits into the caboose shell - fancy that!

Slapped a coat of paint on the body and on the cupola, and glazed all the windows with slip cover glass.

Busy week not in the shop...but a bit of progress - black paint splashed on where the cupola gets installed.

Cupola on, roofing added; ends and ladders...

Ok, done as far as I'm going to bother with this one as I'm not keeping it.
