Sorry Bill, yeah, the ones Larry used and that Ron posted are the ones I had saved. Check with Larry for more info - he's done a bit with them.

OK...I need helo, and am not ashamet to ask! LOL!Has something to do with Verne 9er's favorite quote...... Here's a picture of what I did tonight - Tore outabout 8 feet track & 3 turnouts - reinstalled thetrack & only 2 turnouts, leaving options for later. You can see the reverse loop, noted by: The yellow drill The container of titebond glue The Optivisor
My question is "Where do I gap the rails to make the reverse loop work?" Feel free top download the picture and make marks if you like. Thanks in advance for any help....

Bill, Sorry I have not kept up. The exciters will not cause derailments. I will check in and help tomorrow. Just finished playing hockey and too tired to think straight. |

Geezer, love the little Porter, who makes that kit? As far as the gaps for the reversing loop, I would double gap at the Titebond bottle and at the Optovisor. That section will become the reversing section.

| Nice little loco !! Dave's is a possibility, or gap between the turnouts in the upper loop. Between the yellow driver and the green box. Depends a bit on the longest train you gonna run... |

Geezer, congrats on your new loco.
Wish I could help with your question, but the whole layout would probably short out and melt if I attempted an answer. |

lol Rick, that's 'zactly why I am looking for outside help. No sweat Brudda - I know youhave been under the gun gor a while now. Dave - I was thinking that route too, just double gap the center rails as I am only running short trains anyway. I have a AR, so that part would be easy. Marty - thanks mate, your suggestions and comments are always welcome.
THe whole deal is: I wish to have the loop to reverse trains, but not affect anything inside the loop. We will get there.
Dave - The brass is from Backwoods Miniatures, the donor locomotive is a Bachmann 2-6-0 and the decoder is a tsunami 750, light steam I think It is a kit not for the faint of heart, that's why I had Les put it together for me. He's the best!! Another reason is that I lost vision in my right eye, and have no depth perception. I felt very confident in trusting Les with the project. It runs and sounds terrific!!!! I godda go get some coffee.... |
