Nice work Geezer! Alternating dark washes and drybrushing is the solution if you dont paint everything very dark first... and I agree with Martin on the buff/unbleaches titanium. Mix in a little blue-grey Payne's Grey and white if you want cooler greys. And with the greenery added it all falls into place! Keep it coming!

I think the rock work cane out great Geezer. Once you add the deadfall, brush and other sundries you will have a great looking scene.

OF course I beat the Turkey!!!
And the Hog too!!!
So while back here in Brooklyn, I been putzin around with a couple kits that I had laying around for something to do while not at the lake....

This is the start of A kit from Jon at Morgan Hill Models - On30 20' Boxcar Kit #105. (No affiliation or freebies)I just like the kits...
The laser work is dead on, and the selection of wood is the best.
Took these two shots so you could get an idea of the inside.

Close up inside.....

The kit keeps you interested, and has more steps than usual. I am just about half way done.....
Later tonight I will fiddle with the colors and post the results tomorrow....Thanks for stopping by.....

A very nice car, the interior looks excellent, Bill. I wonder how many turkeys this car could carry...

Had to bring home some stuff from the lake to finish working on the boxcar.....In the meantime, I had the Mexican crew from the E&S.G RR come over and fix the stack on my stubby.....

Here she is being transferred back to the crummy track, by WL&M #7 .....

She's a FMW #2310 designed 10/25/99, built & entered into service on the Wilani Lumber & Mining Co. RR on this day, 12/10/2011.
Verne's crew on the E.&S.G. RR did a fine job. I think the last thing I heard from the foreman was something like...."Vamos para cantina!! Mucha cerveza!! Muy loco!!!" I'll leave it up to you to decipher.....
Thanks for stopping by.....
