Greetings Gents. I figured to post some pix of the Riveston area of our layout that is undergoing extensive rennovation. This used to be Central Oregon, but with the realignment of cities on our RR, it is now the Willamette Valley. Itsa slow work, but looking great!
The foliage is pretty lush and dense, typical of this area west of the Cascades:

That's the Coast range in the distance.

We shall soon have our own website, and when it is up and running, I'll make a more formal introduction of our 38 year old club.

Here are a coupla more shots of some of our recently updated scenery:
First off is the canyon below the line that leads to the lumber mill @ Estacada:

And, this shot is the fruit packers and box plant in Clackamas taken on a typical, dreary January day.

Don,

Those are some great scenes; the backdrops and water are totally awesome. One of the things about your club that impresses me is how your group enjoys building things from scratch. It will be interesting to see the scenic changes that have been made in Bridgeport.

Well Gents, as promised here is the initial cut of our newly developed website. I would appreciate any input you may have, hints/suggestions/issues etc. One known issue is the inability to "blow up" any of the numerous pics of the layout and we are working on that.
The website also addresses the questions above regarding our club.
So, please take a gander and let me know whatcha'll think.

It is a good start. I could have used your site three years ago when I was in the Portland area. Next time.

Over @ Clackamas yard we have an issue with a major support beam rising up through the benchwork at the engine facility. I asked one of our members if he could work it into an industry, and here is the result. Pretty clever and 2 tracks to, well?, somewhere.[:-idea]
