Word has it that a shipment of Hall's fine china (below) and other sundry household goods is being prepared to move eastward in a special commemorative PS-1 box car, one in which in recent years was procured from a town in northern New Jersey. Guess all we need now is for the 2011 Interchange to begin rollin', Hint-Hint!
BTW, this PS-1 is a 'jewel' of a rail car.

Allen, I will give the "official" [:-bigmouth]First Call[:-bigmouth] for the 2011 Interchange in a week or so. But, since you have this thread started, it would be interesting to see who might be interested.
For those who are not familiar with the HO Scale Interchange Program, here is a link to last year's First Call which explains the program.

And here is the link to the thread showing the participants' cars as they made their way around the country.

Well, ya'll know I'll be in again. Not sure if Turtle & Preacher will be able to take part - seems they are back in the slammer for some transgressions.
To my way of thinking, the Interchange waking up again is the first true sign of spring.

I would love to be part of the program. I'm just worried that I haven't been a member of railroad line.com long enough. The reason that I joined this forum was to belong to a group such as this since the NMRA ICE SIG Group is no longer in existance.
I'm actually trying to start up a car interchange program in NYC Metropolitan Area.I started a yahoo group NYCMetropolitanAreaCarInterchange@yahoogroups.com. I was planning on running 2 circuts, transition era and modern (incentive per diem box car era). This sounds ambitious on my part, but it might be fun.
