The new layout is 35 feet by 60 feet with a 400 foot double track mainline, and a separate single track branch line. Both the mainline and branch lines are supported by large staging yards, as well as 3 on line yards. The layout is based on the New England area in 1985 from Providence RI to Northern Vermont and reaching Montreal, Canada via staging. The mainline and branch line are operational with yards, scenery, signals in various stages of completion. The computer based signal system is partially operational. The control system is an NCE DCC system. Trains of all types will run at the open house, including “Thomas; ”The Hogwart Express” and the Acela
