Fine workmanship on display, Roland. Everything is well done and I like the prototypical colors.

Nice work Roland. FYI - I have spent 6 weeks already this year in Harrisburg and will spend many more weeks over the next two years. I have some ways to make resin or plastic look just like wood and you can intermix the parts. Maybe I can stop over and show you on the parts you did not use.

I answered this yesterday but have no idea where it went.

It is nice to be doing something again. Thank you all for the positive comments.

Larry, you are welcome anytime. As far as help with painting plastic to look like wood my problem is I am color blind and and what looks good to me doe not look good to anyone else. I like working with real wood so I don't get into trouble.

You bet Jerry. I am making a mock up of a small abandoned mine with a fallen tree crushed into the roof. Just something to fill in an empty spot. What about you?

Well I started on the Machine Shop in the Engine house then couldn't decide whether I liked it so I started playing with a hoist house.

I'll give you a call this week so we can talk.

Fire car looks great. Wish I had ordered one when they were available.

I have just had an e-mail from Jerry at Foothill Model Works who has confirmed that they are alive and kicking and open for business.

Nick.

Keep 'em coming, Roland !! for someone who is color-blind you do an amazing job of getting it right.

Thanks Nick. Glad to know they are still around.

Terrell, Mrs Hopeless is a big help. If she laughs when I show her something I go back and try again. An example is a stoplight. I see 2 red on top and middle and a white one the bottom.

I have been playing around with an ore dock to fill in an empty space. Photo 1 shows what I have to work with, a small space between the track and the wall. Mrs Hopeless helped by making brownies so I could have the boxes. Geezer's figure helps me to get the size.

Photo 2 shows how far I have gotten. I decided to have a tree collapsed on the roof just for something different.

Hi Roland.
Good to see you still at it.
Good start on the ore dock.
Any brownies left?

That looks great! Terrific color. Looks like the ore dock needs a little sprucing up.

Mike
