This last scene is really wonderful, Roland, and the well lit shot is too.
How wide is the module there? Looks narrow but it's O scale and it may not be so small.

About the sawmill, I agree that you have all the skills required to scratchbuild one, machinery included in my opinion.

Thanks again for the positive comments. I might try to scratch the sawmill someday but for now I have much else to do.

Frederic, At the end with the enginehouse the layout is only 16 inches wide. I was concerned about crowding when I added the blacksmith. It's tight but I've gotten used to it.

Thanks for the answer, Roland. This shows that you can put a lot of structures in a tiny place, even in O scale.
Always interesting to know these things are possible.

Well I guess it's time to drag this up from the basement and start on something. After a long layoff I'm starting on the sawmill. The first piece is a hit&miss gas engine I picked up at the convention made by Crow River. Since I wanted steam I had to change a few things, still more to go.

I also have a boiler kit from Wiseman that arrived on Sat. I ordered it instead of SW because it is much smaller. More photos as progress continues.

Nice little engine, and as the others have said, a real pleasure to see you back at the bench, Roland.
