After I posted the photo of the boxcar I forgot all about it. Thank you all for the comments. I agree Mark, for a small layout the 18 ft cars are great and Mount Blue makes all kinds of bodies for the flatcars.

It has been a while so I thought I would show a picture of what I have been up to. I usually construct buildings on a piece of masonite, so they will be easy to remove if the layout comes down. The enginehouse was placed on the layout after the convention in 2011 and has sat ever since with nothing but foam around it. Last week I finally started to dirt it in and finished tonight. The rusty barrels came out of a care package from Larry



The foam on the other side of the tracks will be next
