That's really starting to come together very nicely.
Is the planer a kit or another of your scratch built wonders?

Thanks Rick and Jerry. I do hope to take the model to Maine next year, if I finish it. Rick, the planer is a Western Scale Models kit. I wouldn't even attempt to scratch one.

Roland - that planer will be a focal point in the
shop. Just it's size makes it stand out. I built
the same kit a couple years ago when I was going
to do a sawmill. It went to another member here.
Looking forward to more progress - you are a true
craftsman, and I don't think I'll get any argument
out of that statement.

That planer looks pretty good. Welcome to the shaky hands club. [:-shades]

Bryan, good to see you post again.

Thank you everyone

Arthur, Not sure I want to be part of the shaky hands club, although it is sometimes interesting to see where the part you are trying to glue on ends up. The dog is learning new words I'm glad he can't repeat

Roland, at least your talk isn't the kind that makes the wallpaper peel, like mine is.

One of these days, I am going to give the rug a good shake and get a kit out of it.

Thanks Marty. Looking forward to Maine.

Arthur, I haven't reached the wallpaper stage yet. My layout is upstairs in a spare bedroom. If I don't find parts that fall, Mrs Hopeless does with the vacuum.

Roland,
I really enjoy viewing your work. The shop is coming along nicely.
That shop cart you built triggered some not so pleasant memories of one I had to use that seemed to have a mind of its own and to go where it wanted.

It's only make-believe

I have been a little to busy with real life but found some time to build a few crates and cardboard boxes. The boxes are made from my trusty old grocery bag. They will be scattered around the building
