As Karl said, the modelling is impressive, not only by its quality but also by the choice of a seldom if ever chosen subject.

Thanks again, both of you.

Frederic, I didn't start out to do a dentist office,
it just came to be. For some reason that little structure
that Troels did caught my fancy and I knew I wanted to
do one similar one day. When I decided to jump in and do it
I thought "what commercial type do I not already have
on my layout?" I have a doctor's office and for some reason a dentist
poped into this old brain. Once that happened I had to
follow through and make what I needed for it.

Painted.
I also hooked up a battery box so I could check out the
lighting before installing the structure on the layout.
I scratchbuilt a pot belly stove for in the corner
and I think I will ad a few 1/24 scale doll house
furniture pieces.

My compliments for your fabulous modeling! Hate the sight of these torture implements though...

Frederic, Bob, and Troles, Thanks, I really appreciate your comments.

Here's a quick shot of the interior. I am not done with
interior details but it is coming along.

Yay great stuff, the drill remind me of my first visit at the dentist when I was a little boy (still not that tall), run of and never came back, took me 7 years to get over this gruesome sight...

A great looking model sgtbob, and the interior detail with the tools on the tray makes it a fantastic model.

Here's a few more shots and I think I will now let the
dentist office rest for a while. Time to think
about what the next project will be.

It's even nicer inside with the lights and the remainder of the furniture. Wonderful building. Almost gives me the desire to have a teeth-ache.

Well... Were's this chocolate?

Terrific work Bob, the interior is superb, even down to the floor detail.

It's a pity you're friend that this was named after was not Scottish..... I have the name of "Phil McAverty" lined up for the dentist in my town.... when I ever get around to building it....

Inspirational as always, looking forward to the next one.... boy you move quick!

Martin, Dave, Will, Frederic, Karl.A, and Troels,
Thanks to all of you, you have kept me going and I appreciate all your comments.
I need to do a bit of carpentry to be able to fit the dentist office onto the layout,
it will be next to the Army/Navy store.

Still trying to decide what the next project will be.

Cheers,
Bob
