Evening All, snowing nicely here in NoVa, has been since shortly after eight.

How about I throw on a big pot of chili with corn bread and lots of extras to put on top.

A pitcher of long Island ice tea on the counter, make room by the fire, I;m pulling up my chair.

And good morning all! Coffee and danishes ready! Going present shopping today, in a town without a model railroad shop ;(

Have a splendid day!

Hi all

Mark, thanks for thinking of me, appriciate it very much.

Shopped yesterday with Carol, but dropped when I got home in the afternoon. Took a 4 hour nap and slept right thru having dinner with my sister, who flew in yesterday from DC. She is worried about the snow you all are getting on the east coast, hopefully the storm will be over when she goes back on Sunday. Dinner and Christmas at my Mom's this evening, so will need to get a nap in this afternoon before I go. Got this moring to putter around the house on some little projects and clean up the train room a little. Should be able to start on the bench work today.

Keep warm, Everyone.

Good morning all. The snow is flying here. Revised forecast is now calling for 12 - 20 inches.
I hope everyone who has to shovel takes it easy.

Thanks for the coffee and danish Troels.
Looks like our new lounge has already gone to the dogs.

I'll spend the day working on more details and take a break for lunch and try some of Mark's chili.[:-chef]

Hope everyone has a great day.

Morning All, thanks for the coffee and danishes Troels.

Hey Jim, I don't know what shape things will be when she gets back on Sunday, it's still snowing and we have severalinches on the ground here in No Virginia. I am not planning on doing much today, but watching WV hoops and watching it snow.

Everyone have a great day.

Mark

Good morning all .... thanks for the coffee ..

Still dark out but the temp is suppose to be near the freezing mark and sunny. What a difference from last week.

Have to make a quick run into Edmonton, 240 miles return, this morning for my daughter - Xmas stuff ... At least I'll get to drive her new Yukon.

I worked on the second level oval section of track yesterday getting 10 ft. spiked down. I use about 50 spikes a foot so you can easily see how they disappear quickly. Did some bridge work but had to wait for glue to dry.

Have a great day.

[:-jumprefect] Just checking my banking and I see Digitrax has billed me. This should mean my DT400 controller is on its way back as a DT402D [:-jumprefect]

Good Morning All,
We have about 12inches of snow and its still snowing. Yesterday I got some painting done on the rocks, I am base coating them a light tan, and will work the dark colors (stains) in the thousands of cracks and crevises. Eventually I will drybrush the highlights in. Its good to see it not white in the areas I have done so far as I can see areas that will be colored differently. Since we are kinda snowed in..I am going to work on trains and RR most of this weekend, then back to work on Monday.

Good afternoon all,

I see some of you are getting the snow.. it has yet to arrive here.. we're all bracing for it.

Kirk, that is one nice looking Dane.. I hope you have trained it not to jump up on people! I can imagine Tango being happy and unintentionally knocking people down.

Les, I am happy to see you are making progress and hope to see pictures soon!

Have a good day all.

Arthur, Tango doesn't jump up, but getting hit by his wagging tail when he's happy is quite painful, especially for men.....
