Neat work Scott! You are certainly taking advantage of every inch of the layout.

Time to catch up......I've turned my attention to the unfinished Town of Valjean. Perched along a narrow canyon, the idea is to create a town clinging to the narrow real estate carved out to serve the nearby mining community. I've just started constructing various industry, stores, and shacks, placing them in areas to determine their best viewing angle. The following pictures show some finished, some half-finished, and some mockup versions of the town structures. Hmmm....I think I need a jail run by a sheriff named Javier. Scott

Looks great, like the first shot with this variety in roof angles. Also the 4th shot with the peek through...buildings look good...

Scott, what a nice collection of buildings. I really like the one legged one and of course the train stoppers. all kidding aside, they really are great.

Your models are great eye catchers, as usually, Scott. I love the mood you're able to put into even a simple cabin like the penultimate picture shows.
And the weathering of the sign on Red's Laundry is superb.

The Town of Valjean is coming together. I just finished Wayne Feeds, the largest structure in the town. Built using my typical photo texture technique (paper over foam core base) with Grant Line windows and doors. A little bit of this a little bit of that, and viola.......Wayne Feeds. Next.....on to building foundations for all the other buildings in the town. Scott

Very nice building Scott. I finally bought the Gazette and read your article. I am quite impressed. You do excellent work.
