Martin,

You can control the servo by the throttle or the push buttons/LEDs component that comes with the unit.

Bill, I am like you that this package provides a complete and well put together solution. It was one stop shopping for a change.

Arthur,

I am waiting on some 22 gauge wire that I ordered to arrive before I go further on the turnouts and track work.

In the mean time I have been building o.f. box cars. Pictures can be found on that thread.

The 22 gauge wire arrive. The second power district and 3 more turnouts have been wired. No shorts. My little trains can go round and round.

I need to install and wire 4 singlet servos for the turnouts.

Tom,
Here is Steve fishers installs, with help from friends. Steve uses the servo with switches, bus wire and battery. Got to use a momentary switch or you burn these out...he has on and off but will be replacing these.

so you will notice the bent wire, and the U wire to limit travel...the back edge of the homasote limits that throw. Several people suggested use of safety pin for better spring action. He does not use the Tam valley remote or push buttons so he can't train them. I am not sure if he is power routing though. He will see this and respond...

I especially like the ones where he has a flag on the servo arm, it corresponds to the switch at front of RR.

Les,

Thanks for sharing Steve's servo installation. I must look at / ponder those flags.

Looking forward to some comments from Steve.

Ralph,

I did solve the problem. Since then I have torn out the complete layout, framing and all. Needing the exercise I put a duck under in. Now I do not use a PSxAR.

Singlet #4 is going in today. I wired the siding for the station.

While puttering around I ran the rail truck around and around, forward and backwards. Mine must of been built on a Wednesday as it is running fine for now.

All six turnouts are now being controlled by singlets / servos. The Climax enjoyed a good day of running.

Found this topic and thought I would blow the dust off and bring it forward.

I am working on little buildings to cover the servos.
