I am not sure that I want to raise the landscape on the front.

I have started to build a saw filers shack that is 12' x 20' that may sit to the front of the layout partially hiding some of the buildings to the back. I plan to build a root cellar which would be located near the cook shack.

Perhaps a small garage to fix the trucks in ...

What kind of windows do you use Tom?
Are the scratched? Or did I miss something?
Great start......Looks interesting.

Geezer,

The windows are Grandt Line. The one door will be scratch built.

Three bigger windows will go in the roof.

Roland,

I saw a picture of a sawfiler's shack that I liked somewhere on the net. Forget to book mark it and haven't found it since. I'll just wing it from memory.

Arthur,

I think I have the trusses figured out. I have built 4 full trusses. I'll need to build a couple half trusses for the side the windows are not on.

Looks good Tom.
Should be plenty of light to work with with those skylights you're putting in.

As you think, so will you be.
