| Outstanding!! And I concur with MikeC, this would be equal to any of the displays from the last NG convention, and I say that from the perspective of being a member of the club which placed first and third (HO and O scale displays) at the convention. |
- KP - Life is too short to build all of the models that I want to build. |

Great scenery on that layout!
are the structures in the middle of this photo a view block/photo? The lighting and perspective is different and I thought that maybe it was hiding a track in the background while making the street look bigger? Neat |

Neil,
It just dead ends at the backdrop, kinda neat how it makes you think there is more back there when there is not.
Thanks to all for the comments.
Dave, thanks for posting the pics

Hi John: Thanks for putting up the other photos of our set up in Concord. This is my first posting on ANY forum, so I am not sure what to expect and when to jump in. Hopefully, I am in!
See you next weekend at my place.

| I'm really taken with the grass. Can you share what product/system was used to make it? I've never seen anything that looks so much like the real thing, perfect height and all. |

The grass was applied with a "Grassinator" Knock off of the Noch static grass applicator $10.00 vs $140.00. Grass was most likely Woodland scenics, Scott knows for sure.

The grass is a Noch static Grass product. I have recently used Silkor's product also (more for the same price). It is applied using a negative ion generator make shift device found in an online article. I no longer have the link. But if you google "grassinator" you will find it. The bushes are a combination of "Super Trees", and another Silkor product that is flocked with their leaf material. The larger bushes and sapling trees in the foreground is a weed John found in a field in West Sacramento (what he was doing there after midnight is anyones guess - wink). The same material can be found at an arts and crafts type store that sells florist materials - however, it costs about 8-12 dollars a bunch. The evergreens are a combination store bought simple spruce trees, a flocked bottle brush technique tree, and caspia and balsa trunks (good looking, but time consuming).

Just want to let everyone know that we will have our second show this weekend in Roseville California. We will be setting up at the International Railfair for Sat & Sunday. This show has been going on for a very long time and is the biggest in the area.
Stop by and say Hello if you are in the area.
