Business is a bit quiet ( calm before the storm [:-crazy] ) , so good time to get more miniature modeling done for June 2012 expo.

Early stages using "FRocks" for "Rocks"
Tall timber added to give vertical scenery. Foliage for this tree donated by Paul Scoles
Early stages. I still had no idea how it would turn out. I nearly threw this early stage out to the rubbish heap, as I could not visalise the next step. I start with a blank canvas and let my imagine take it's journey
Mario, lookin’ good mon. One question, what’s the name of the actual tree branches you’re using for tree trunks? I think we have a similar type growing around here. It’s called Carolina Willow or Coastal Plain Willow, more of an invasive species than a native. it grows along marshes, rivers and lakes. It has great bark variation and its light weight.
Wes. Thanks mate. Currently adding a load of N&B washers to the wharf.
Frank.
Your specimen looks familar to one of our an Australian plants, however the trees ( Casuarina ) I use were the ones from the RED STAG layout donated by Geoff & Steve a few years back.
Dan Pickard & John Hunter have used similar on their projects.
