| Nice shots Danny. The light through the glass is very effective. The last one almost has a water colour texture; very soft and inviting. |

Rick, I had a couple more on page 17 as well. I got my photo upload fixed and went a little overboard last night. Danny |

Danny: Some great photos there, you certainly do have the "eye" for photos!
I was out in our backyard last night, doing some painting - painting with light. Something I've been thinking about for a while. In the dark of night, with the three-quarter moon provinding some light, I set up my camera on a tripod, then proceeded to "paint" the yard with my flash unit while the camera shutter was open all the time. Here are a few of the results:

There was some other illumination from the solar powered LED lights around the wife's flowers, but that's it. First time I've tried this technique with a digital camera, and it's a whole lot easeier than doing it with film, as you can see the results and adjust accordingly. My first shots were at f/8, which were too dark so I tried f/5.6 for these and it worked better. I still lightened the images with my Paint Shop Pro program.
More tries tonight!

| Danny, Love the bottle shots. Don't see much of the glass bottle variety anymore.Just plastic. |

| Bob, Nice photo op. I did this with film years ago. Now, I'll have to give this a go with the digital. Your photos are excellent and your choice of area lighting is spot on. BTW Bob, Nice yard. |
