Right out of the paint shop! Those interior boards sure do get beaten up, ya know? Next comes decals, flat coat, and weathering. [:-eyebrows]

Nice work on the gondola, Russ. Do you plan to add some peeling paint effect to the sides? Harry Brunk's pictures of coal cars - as he called them - in his long series "Up Clear Creek on the narrow gauge" in the Gazette showed quite a lot of peeling (much more than paint...). Russ, what's your philosophy about this thread? Should we post all our Sn3 material there or have separate threads for each subject? |

This is the Sn3 place for now, so post 'em if ya got 'em! This car won't be a peeled-paint job, just a dusty one. |

Russ Thanks for posting the latest progress on the gon. Looks great and the beaten up interior boards add the right touch. Peter [:-kitty] |

Thanks for the comments, Guys, I really appreciate it. The decals make it look like something now. Unfortunately, the data decals that came with the kit fell apart in water, so I'll have to get a decal set for this type car and finish it up another time.

| Great job. Are you going to rust up the trucks and wheels? I can see that I am going to soon have to break out my kit and give it a shot. Thanks for starting this forum. |
--KP Life is to short to make all of the models I want to. |

| Let me add my voice to KP's suggestion, Russ. With rust on wheels and trucks, it's gonna be a perfect model. |
