Ron,
The scene has turned out very nice. Where are the trees from? |

Thanks for the comments Mark, Geezer Paul and Tom.
Paul, The 2" inches was a challenge to get it looking like a full forest along the ridge.
Tom, The evergreen trees were made from a Woodland Scenic 2-1/2" to 4" Pine tree armatures with clump foliage and the deciduous trees were made using Light Green and Olive Green Fine-Leaf Foliage (it'd what I had on hand). The bushes and other material were a mixture of Woodland Scenics and Scenic Express products.

Had a chance this weekend to do spend some time at the workbench so I decided to do something different and put together on of the 1917 Model T ambulance that is being produced by RPM. I had bought 3 of them when they first came out.
I did modify it a bit to have a flatbed on the back.
There are a lot of small parts in the kit but it went together really well with very little flash. I spent time putting together the engine components that are not seen on the completed model. On the next build I think I'll leave those steps out.
Here it is ready for the paintshop.

I'll be building side stakes for the truck out of wood which I plan to add after the painting is done.

Thanks for the comments Jerry, Geezer Andy and Martin,
Andy, I would recommend the kit to anyone, its an easy enough model to put together with lots of possibilities.
