Ron, you've taken good advantage of your time off and gotten a lot done.
I'll enjoy seeing you bring this new area to life.
Thanks too for the additional wiring photo.

As you think, so will you be.

Thanks for the comments everyone, it sure feels great to be working on the railroad again.

Dilbert, glad you liked the SBS.

Geezers Coolies????? they cost to much to hire there dates, I'm training squirrels and chipmunks, although the training is not going well, they keep running off looking for nuts.

Larry, I enjoyed my last visit to NC that who knows another visit might be in order.

Ron

That is some nice progress. Are you using cork roadbed under the ties???

Ron,

Looks great! Gives me some great ideas for my logging branch. I have a question; are your ties Mt. St. Albert? I have thought of using those or cutting my own. If I were to cut them myself what type of wood do you think I should use?

Jeff

Gerry, yup it is cork under the ties, it's not MR cork I use but gasket cork, it's much denser than the MR cork. I prefer the denser cork for hand laying track.

Thanks Arthur, should have more pictures in a few days. We will have the grandkids this weekend so modeling time will be very limited.

Jeff, yes they are Mt Albert ties. If i were to make my own i would use clear pine.
