Mike,

definately looking good.

One question-what did you use to apply the future? The river on the N scale layout and the one on the Z layout both could use some more gloss.

Thanks Catt! I used a small el cheapo paint brush with nylon bristles as I thought I would be throwing it away when I was done but it did clean up with warm water. Be sure to allow about 24 hours between coats for each coat ( I did 3 coats ) to fully harden.

I'm pretty much done with the creek area other then I will probably add a few more trees at a later date.

In the one pic in the upper left corner you can see an expanse of green painted foam, that is where I'll be going next.

This area needs to have a gravel road following along side the tracks with woods on the other side, it will lead to a small pulpwood yard eventually. The first two shots were from the company helicopter. The final shot from ground level had to be taken from a little farther to the left as there is a hill in the way.

My dial-up and this site are not playing very well together today. I'll try again on the other two pics.

Yes Bruce it's the same area I just lowered the camera and as I said in the first post I had to move the camera to the left some when I lowered it because of a hill that was in the way. Thanks Rob!

O.K. I jumped in the company copter and took a pic from as close as I could get to the same angle as the first two pics.

Mike,

You are sure cranking through the scenery projects. Nicely done.
