Mario, that's some beautiful modeling in those photos. I can see why doing scenery is your "passion." Speaking of passion, everyone should have a Rose for a dancing parnter. At least, I should. (Of all the possible partners, she would be the least likely to complain every time I stepped on her toes.)

Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm a busy man. I have a railroad to run.

Mario,I can only repeat what Mike said, those scenes with the buildings in the hills are very very nice and give the feel of distance. This is the type of modeling I really enjoy looking at...Jerry

That's a nice blend of different elements you got there, looking forward to see them together in one scene. The trees look wonderful and will add a lot to the layout. I hope you keep posting pictures of your progress so that we can check it out.

A bit of an update.

Working everyday on the bridge ( named after a bloke I have never met, who lives in Canada ) .

Also, working on details parts for other parts of the project..[:-crazy].

Slow going, as I get too fussy with my projects...

That's a whole lot of castings, and they look great. I took the opportunity to revisit the 3 amigos diorama, it's looking great. The trestle will look great when finished, thanks for the work in progress shots.

Steve

Everything I do is hand painted..
..cause I model "on the go", when I have a spare 10 minutes or when need to "chill out"..

I use various types of double side tape to hold detail parts down...
tape is available in $2 shops..
... I think they cost $2....
Seriously..
. when I see the tape...
I buy the lot....
always comes in handy.....

I knew I had 'em...found them this morning..

Detail parts can be purchased cheaply..
especially, for detailing locomotives, pipework for structures ( Plumbing, flues, etc ) and secenry work ( culverts , etc )

I see a lot of new members on the RRL.
Can I suggest you get a pack of brass piping as per the pics.. It will come in handy one day.
"TRUST ME"

Maybe there are other forum members who have made good use of this $8.00, bag of goodies...

til next time...

Big M,

Very nice little model on your link. The decayed tree stump is a great detail and so well done. And all the details around it are finely painted and weathered.

Ya didn't mention where to get that $8 bag of tubing goodies...

Also, great shot ya took of Laurie Green's model. Haven't heard much from him here on the forum since he first joined in, several months back.

Mario,

Just how long is the trestle going to be? And how high? Really looks like its going to be a beauty!
