Hey Chris...

I see at Delson you had a lady 'driver' engineer...

At least she didn't put any loaded tank cars in a nearby lake...did she? Or crush any fax bungalows?

KK.

Anton, . .Thanks for the video; I greatly appreciated it! If that isn't enough to make an Alco-Haulic out of someone, then 'someone' must be hopeless!

Call me an Alco holic too!! Not my fault that the new owners of the Springfield Southern are cheap!Just added another RS3, this one an Athearn in PC paint. Nice detail but it is lighter and does not pull as well as the RS11s and RS3s from Atlas. Current roster also includs an S4 in Bay Colony and a Conrail RS2 from Model Power. John

Here are some shots of the latest Alco to join my roster. I had picked up the M&E RS-1 that Atlas had released a few years ago, and I could't let that be the only M&E loco on my roster, now could I?

Like all my other recent Atlas locos, she ran beatuifully, right out of the box. Now all she needs is some dust and grime applied.

Bruce-
#14 isn't on the current M&E roster. At least I don't think so. Was she sold or scrapped?

Great looking...and sounding Alcos Karl, Bob and Bruce. Hmmm...Bob I doubt yours will make its distinctive noise anymore!

Bruce, that bright paint scheme sure looks super. Makes the unit 'stand out' for sure! Karl, nice 'home' scheme you've got there...equally colourful! [:-star][:-star][:-star]

All the best, Mike Hamer

Dave, I don't know the current status of #14. The Fallen Flags site has a picture of her at work in 1984 (although in a different paint scheme).

Karl Bob Bruce. Your photos highlight what being an alcohaulic is all about. Bruce. Your latest additions are very nice indeed and make a super impression in that colour scheme

Dave,

I posed the question over on the Atlas Forum, and got this response:

"The #14 was sold to a chemical company in Linden, NJ to use as an intra-plant switcher. It lasted there up until about 10 years ago, when the unit was scrapped."
