After looking at Karl O's Wall, I decided to give it a try in a little bigger form. I'm just going to wing it as I go along...
The base is a 6x8" piece of hardboard...
The two walls came from Randy at DD...they were extra's he sent when it seemed Addam's was going in the trash[:-bigeyes]
I've started the first wall. It's been primed and a garage door and window has been cut in...
Here the wall has been weathered along with the window. I'll be scratching the garage door...
I'll update as I make some progress. |

Ken, I'll be following along. How did you cut the opening for the garage door and window? |

Hi Bruce,
I used Randy's suggestion of drilling holes along the scribe lines and then sanding the rest of the way.
The window is routed in. Worked well except for the dust. I also glued cardstock to the back of the walls before beginning for added strength. |

Ditto! This looks really interesting, Ken.
As a side note, Bob Van Gelder at SRMW recommends bracing plaster walls with either cardstock or 1/8" square stripwood. I've used both plain white glue and yellow carpenter's glue with good success. Both stick to the plaster with no problems.

Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm a busy man. I have a railroad to run.

Off to a good start , Ken . Looks like red oxide primer for starters . I like the window treatment already .I prefer white glue since it dries almost colourless . Terry |

I used Aleene's Easy Flow Tacky Glue for the card stock. Holds really well.
After working on the garage door I remembered I had some old plastic kits[:-ashamed]laying around so there was a change of plans. Besides, the wood one looked like crap

Uh, would that be a red light Terry.
Ken looks as if you are off to a good start. Rather plain Jane right now but I am sure that problem will soon be fixed.
