I have been looking fairly hard for a club that is growing and interrested in new members in the S. denver area... although drives of 45min or so could be tolerated.
i know that there is a club at the Railroad museum in Golden, but when i visited, they were not very friendly and since the layout is about 90+% complete, there is not a lot of projects to get involved with (besides track cleaning).
LHS was not much help. seems that if there are clubs about, they aren't doing a lot of promotion.
any help, other sources would be appreciated.

Have you tired a modular club?

Free-mo is the latest and greatest standard. Lots of new clubs are popping up using it. For more info about Free-mo point your browser to www.free-mo.org

There's a Free-mo group in the metro Denver area called Colorado Free-mo The contact is Roger Smith (ragoplen@msn.com). There's also an e-mail list at Yahoo Groups called "ColoradoFreemo" Lastly check out their web site at www.geocities.com/coloradofreemo .

Good luck
