Thanks for the heads up Mike, when i return home i'll try that.
Looks like i'm stuck here till saturday.home for a day and a half and then turn around and do another 6 day stretch.
Hopefully i can get my second block wired and the track painted along with some scenic rough in this week end

I love the structures in the photo.
I know it was taken in the lower 48 but it just screams of a rural town in Alaska.

Well,I managed to get the 2nd block wired and did some work on tunnel entrances Sunday morning.I then made the error of getting my Honda 900 out of the shed and fired up for the season. It was a beautiful 70+ degree spring day and feeling the need to run the old gas out of the bike i headed out for a little ride. The little ride turned into a...........well lets just say i got hame very late last night.
Sometimes you just have to go with the Moment

OK here is another inspirational Photo of a Mill. Now, this was likely an old time saw mill complex but i am thinking it could be adapted for Granite quarry work, particularly for slab handling.I havent worked out the details yet but my grey matter is chewing on this one.[:-spin]

Well i started on the hardshell work and got the first rough in coat done after masking everything else.I used some foam filler, chicken wire and some hvy duty paper toweling along with plaster. The rough in gets things shaping up but still a far cry from where i want it to be.tomorrow is another day,Perhaps i'll get another coat and a few rock castings in place in the morning.
It seems to me i have one of those disposable camera's laying around here somewhere. If i can find it i'll take some pictures and get them developed when the films used up.I can then scan them and post.Kind of the long way around but with the digital down, its amazing what you can do with lack of options
