All,
Thanks for the kind words and the welcomes! I have pretty much just begun to explore the Internet modelling groups and such. I have a lot of catching up to do! There is so much amazing work being done these days, a lot of info to process all at once. I'm looking forward to sharing back and forth. I hope to see more garages/gas stations here-they seem to be a very common thing on our layouts.

Regards,

Chuck Doan

Gentleman & NickO [:-irked]

Laurie Green & John Hunter have built a version of RED OAKS. I am going to see them this weekend at an expo. Hope their versions are there, so as I can take a few pics to share with you.

That's terrific modeling, Chuck! Welcome to the forum. I have a couple gas stations slated for my layout, but nothing like yours. Giving me second thoughts.

I am speechless after spending some time looking at your model.
Unbelievable work and the attention to detail is as good as it gets.
Thanks for posting and I hope we get to see more in the future.

Chuck,
After looking at the photos I'm still not convinced that it's a "model". I can't find anything that even remotely suggests it's not real. Great work.
