Bill,

Here's something I received early this morning that I thought you and the forum might appreciate. Maybe you can tell us a little bit about this engine since it resides in your state? The couple in the picture is my cousin and her husband. Thanks.

Allen,
Looks like it's on the Boone & Scenic Valley out by Boone Iowa.
As far as I know the engine was one of the last steam engines built in China.
Does anyone have more info as to where and when exactly this engine was built?I know Trains magazine had an article about China steam about the time this engine was built,but can't remember the date.
