Boy, I've been asleep at the helm! Here it is the second day of October, and I haven't opened the new Gallery.
I have been petitioned by the Association for Promoting Proper Respect for Little People to start a theme showing off their contributions to our layouts and dioramas. So, having the utmost respect for our LP, I have decided to dedicate this month's Gallery to them. (There is no truth to the rumor that I caved into pressure when they threatened to walk off the job on my layout.)
So, fellow Forum Members, I invite you to post pictures showing your little people at work (or play). Anyone posting a picture that does not contain at least one member of the APPRLP, does so at his/her own risk.[:-shake]
As always, please adhere to the following posting requirements: photo files should be no more than 80kb @ 72ppi in size - even if downloading from a remote server or website - and can be no more than 7 inches in width (to prevent viewers from having to scroll back and forth to see the entire photo or read text on the same page).
Photo submissions not meeting the above requirements will be resized by the Moderator.
While I have your attention, let me tell you about a coming attraction. These monthly Galleries are great vehicles for all members to share some of their favorite photos, let others see what they have been working on, and to share great modeling ideas. Now, it is also obvious that there are some great photographers among our members. In the near future, I will open another thread that will hopefully entice members to show off their best photography skills, and help us all learn more about lighting, composition, etc. -- a "Photo Challenge" of sorts.[:-eyebrows] Stay tuned.
In the meantime, let's make our Little People happy by giving them their 15 minutes (or one month) of fame. |

Since Roy here is the president of the local chaper of the APPRLP, I thought it wise to start the month off showing him hard at work.

I believe that Roy came to me via Model Power Set #5701. |

Here are a few of my little people. Hank, in the red shirt, is spotting Rick's 50' Penn boxcar (from our forum Interchange) for the engineer of a Frisco Pacific engine as Jim, standing next to the caboose, looks on:

These guys were supposed to be working, but were caught playing horseshoes.

| Allen & George, thanks for the pics. I'll bet the LP are happy with the rapid posting of their clan. |

Great theme, Bruce! These first three photos are proof of that. I'll have to see what I can come up with when I get back home.

Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm a busy man. I have a railroad to run.

What perfect timing, I have been painting and adding figures all over the layout, too bad I have only taken a few photos. I will see if I can get some photos of the new people and post them, for now here are some old photos I took.
