Then i hit loco and AD2 and then CV rd and it flashes for a while and eventually says "d nr" as if it can't read the decoder. With the rails connected to the rail terminals, I do the same thing except using "OPS" mode and I get the same thing "d nr". It doesn't seem to matter what decoder or loco is on the rails, I get the same thing. The few locos I did renumber, I had similar issues and just kept trying until it finally worked. I'm sure this isn't right. If there was really a problem reading the decoders, why do they respond fine while operating them? All sound etc works fine.
