Nicely done Bob, I enjoyed the tour. I think you should stand at the stern and take a bow. [:-captain]

Bob, it's always a joy for me to watch you build a model, and this paper ship "Enterprize" was no different.
No matter what material you work with, styrene, wood, paper, they always come out looking FANTASTIC!!!
Congratulations on completing another beautiful model!

Beautiful! What a fine job you’ve done. Details like the cannon really catch the eye and by substituting your own you enhanced an already impressive model.

Pete, Dave, and Jim, thanks for your comments.
The paper shipmodel is finished.
28 gun frigate c.1774
model scale = 1:96 (a very common ship model scale, 1/8"=1')
model length = 17.5 inches
model beam = 4.5 inches
model weight = 12 oz.
I figure the model is about 99.8 paper, only very small items non-paper. As promised, here is the list:
cannons & carronades - metal
swivel guns - wood, carved from toothpicks
mast stubs - wood
deadeyes and deadeye straps - plastic
capstan - carved wood
belaying pins - plastic
anchors - pastic
stern lanterns - resin & plastic
rudder chain - brass chain

Pete, NO!! I don't want you to see all my mistakes!!! (just kidding!!)
It will soon be done and I will take it out of my shop to get a better background and lighting
for a couple of clearer shots and I'll try to make them bigger.
