Good morning everyone.

Coffee, hot water for tea and Cherry Diet Dr. Pepper are ready to go.

It will be a cloudy and rainy day here with temps in the low 50's.

Jim, good to hear from you again.
I look forward to seeing and reading about the progress you make on the new layout.
Congrats on the new rescue.

Tom, safe travels and glad you enjoyed the show.

Paul, two Fridays is good, but not as good as Jerry's 7 Saturdays.

Bike ride first, then grocery shopping and meal prep.
Not sure about the rest of the day yet.

Good Morning All
Frustrating, but forgot that when i leave the site, before i submit a post i loose every thing that i had typed. So here i go again.

It has been a while since i have checked in so it is nice to see some of the old faces and even a few new one here in the lounge. I am glad to see that my old friend Gezzer has been memorized here.

A few years ago we sold our land and the CR&T Co. had to be dismantled and moved to the Saint Croix River Valley. After aquireing some property, I started to rebuild the railroad. This time i will be building it in sections or modules so that should i ever have to dismantle and move again, i can do it with a wrench instead of a sawzall. I haven't posted photos the the new layout yet, but will. Haven't decided if i will carry the old name, but have been thinking about it.

With the snow falling the other day i decided to put away the RC airplanes and wandered over to the layout. I putzing around with the trains for a while and everything still worked just as i had left it. It really felt good to get back to it working on the railroad. I broke my arm last January, so spend most of last winter reading, sleeping and basically no modeling. So it has been taking a bit of effort to remember where i left off. I have hopefully it will all come back.

We just got a new rescue border collie last nite to foster so i might be a tad distracted to day. But will try to take a break in the train room.

Hope all have a good weekend.
will check in latter, thanks for still being here.
Jim

I know itís late but we just got home. Hamilton on tour was extremely good, other then the actors names they were as good as the show we
saw years ago on Broadway. I tossed another log in the fireplace and the Eagle Rare is out for some sipping. Not sure when Iíll check in
tomorrow as heading to North Central Wi early.

Pretty good frost this morning and some black ice.
But it hit the fifties, so I got the tractor and HD winterized.
Work was smooth, then got some strip wood and stock sorted and set aside. Gotta dig up rivets and some other bits, and clear a spot to make a mess.

Have a good evening all, tomorrow is Friday,
Rick gets two this week!

Good morning from dreary wet So. Wisconsin. The rain the last few days has almost eliminated the white stuff and the green is showing again.
Thanks Rick for pushing the day forward and the diet sodas. We see Hamilton the Broadway show on tour this evening, I have to wear a suit, so happy.

My wife has been watching the hearings and from what I can hear on the TV from my trainroom, this is a time I wish I could turn off hearing aides,
but I donít have any. Enjoy your day.

Good morning,

Rick, thanks for coffee.

Jerry, thanks for the pic.

It's 66F now with thunderstorms and a high of 74F forecast. Feels like spring, but the trees are beginning to turn and lose their leaves.

Texas Western tonight, meal preparation this morning.

Have fun,

Evening everyone

I'll throw a couple of logs on the fire to keep it going through the night.

Trip to Vermont was a really great time. Had snow the last two days not much just made it a winter wonderland.

On the way home we stopped off to see an old friend I'm sure you'll recognize him Rick.
Carl Laskey.

I'll have a glass of red and heading to bed shortly I'm tired.

Good evening folks,

Rick, hope you enjoy the weekend.

This morning we decorated a pavilion at Hulen Park in Cleburne. An ATSF 4-6-2 is next to the pavilion, but the boiler jacket was removed years ago because of asbestos. Fortunately, a group of high school juniors and seniors volunteered to help us, so we were finished by 11. We had fun.

No plans for tomorrow.

HI today was 74F, tomorrow 72F. Cloudy with chance for rain.

Have fun,
Mike

Good evening everyone.

Tom, thanks for getting us going today and for the tasty treats.

Today was TGIF [:-party]
Got home from work and took a nap and just finished a bike ride.
Some music on the stereo and then finish the day with some TV.
Started watching Amazon's Man In The High Castle.
This is the fourth and finale season.
It's very good and I highly recommend it.

Fridge is stocked with some frosty brews and a bottle of red on the counter to go along with Tom's spread.

See you in the AM.

Good afternoon after the Forum power outage. The coffee pot is signaling ready, the diet sodas are cold and there is some cheese, French bread and cold cuts on the counter. It is a warmer day but dreary and damp. Therefore I threw a couple logs in the fireplace. Someone can check the fire later for hopefully an evening rush of visitors.

Good morning and after trying to post and giving up we are back from the fitness center. A dreary So. Wisconsin day but better than white stuff falling. Today the movie is Midway and a nice dinner out.

The legal stuff went Terryís way as figured. After 7 months she finally had a great night of sleep. Some details I have at the Tuesday Lounge. Have a great day.
