These 2 are the first of several left over from a large box lot of cars and rubbish (emphasis on rubbish, ) that I had bought a few years ago. I pulled all of the decent cars that took only a few hours of effort to move them to either keep or depart. The rest were salvaged for parts, trucks, etc and more than a few made some great kindling last winter,

But, I kept a few on the shelf thinking that there might be something there other than just kindling.

These 2 were basically wooden boxes with a boxcar roof section all nailed together when I started.

Correct - not Dullcote. I use Rustoleum Clear Matte.

A bit a decent weather late last week and I was able to get these 2 cars painted and then apply the dry transfers. They still need a quick overspray to seal the top dry transfer layer, but here they are practically finished.

Ends and roof bits installed....

Now I'm waiting for a few warm days to do some painting if I can score some flat white paint somewhere......

Good point, George! This is for all those that think that I only work in wood,

Sounds like your airbrush is going to be busy soon.

I'll have to wait a bit for it to warm up for painting outside.

Got dry transfers for these 2 out of the box. States the car was "green" - leaves a bit of interpretation. When I get closer to done, I'll open up the transfers and see if that's also the roof and ends.

Also have dry transfers for the PSC car; white sides and red roof & ends. Ok, no white in stock.... [:-banghead]
