OK, Here are some photos of where I am at with my layout. At this point most of the layout is pink styrofoam with track pinned to it. Only one small section is complete. I dont have scaning so I don't know how to add a trackplan. Photos in next post

They look very nice. I can see from your work that hydrangeas make for very realistic trees when you use the Scenic Express leaves. I also use hydrangeas but leave them bare for winter trees. Not so realistic but Iím aiming more for an impression. I like what youíve done.

Looks like you hit the nail on the head. Good use for a pretty flowering plant.

Nice work Roland. I will be in Lancaster in February. I doubt I can break free from meetings to come visit but I can always dream.

I needed more stuff to fill in between the trees and the hydrangea bushes by the garage were kind of shaped like trees so I spent the weekend seeing if they would work. The first picture shows one before cutting the flowers off and the others trimmed. The second shows a small one with Scenic Express leaves. Kind of like Super Trees but taller. Some are a scale 35 feet.

Could not load the second picture. Will try again. Roland

Thank you all. It was the most fun I have had with a kit in quite a while.

Outstanding work! The buildings each has an individual look but collectively make an interesting scene. Top notch modeling.
