OK, Here are some photos of where I am at with my layout. At this point most of the layout is pink styrofoam with track pinned to it. Only one small section is complete. I dont have scaning so I don't know how to add a trackplan. Photos in next post

Thanks. To answer Rick, the mast is 9 inches tall and the boom is 12. I cut 3 inches off the mast because it just looked to tall.

In 1:1, how tall is it?
robert goslin Posted - 01/30/2020 : 8:51:38 PM
Roland, it sure has come up a beauty. Nice extra detail, without being overdone.
In O scale that boom must be fairly tall.

Thanks Rob. I'm quite happy how they fill in around the pine trees.

I finished the crane last night. A few photos.

The picture of the Model A in the background is a car I got in 1989 and drove as a hobby until I sold it in 2008. Great little car but kind of slow.

Roland, nice trees. I have Hydrangeas in our garden, but I don't know if they're the same sort.
So will see.

Thank you all once again. Almost finished with the details. Maybe a picture tomorrow.

The scene looks terrific. Nicely done!

I really like the foliage.

But that new derrick really looks interesting. So far another beauty Roland.
