Posted - 06/18/2012 : 3:20:05 PM Good Afternoon All, We are home from Goose Fest, the first of a kind. Reportably the first time all the Geese have been in one place...missing only Goose 3 from Knotts Berry Farm who bailed at the last minute. I can tell you it was spectacular to be able to get in and crawl around as well as ride in the cabs of all of them. There are pics, and video...the video will take a bit longer.
Teaser from Cell phone cam...Saturday Afternoon...

Posted - 07/06/2012 : 11:34:07 AM It's always intrigued me as to how the bells work - looked at the close-up on Goose #2, but still can't fathom it. Just so happens I now have a spare goose bell and was thinking of adding to my Davenport kitbash. Cheers David(UK) |

Posted - 07/01/2012 : 9:26:00 PM N6, That bump out had a stove to warm anybody riding in the back. The box was separated from mail and people...not many, the stove kept the patrons warm. Note no windows, no view...no fun riding.

Posted - 06/23/2012 : 7:10:57 PM Mario, Indeed, short of catching them inflight at Cumbres or Durango...this will do. Friday and Saturday the later afternoon skies were boiling with gray clouds, Sunday was clear. Good time of year to be there with the green of the trees still fresh.

Posted - 06/23/2012 : 07:52:45 AM Good Morning All, I have sometime, so more pics...I will focus on #7 and post new video of 7 and 6.

as you can see there is lots of details there...7 is the largest by 3 feet. Also as noted before, just behind the front seat the body was sliced open and spread wide to accomodate a 60" seat, hence the distortion of the body.

Posted - 06/21/2012 : 4:54:58 PM John I believe the one you are talking about is Goose 4, and yes its been rebuilt...its the one from Telluride. This is its first outing I think. So short of Goose 3 that was a no show [:-banghead]at snotts berry farm...ALL of the gooses were there, running functional, sometimes overheating, sometimes needing a push (have that on a movie too), more so all preserved.
