During some years I have built a layout in our basement. My ambition has been to try to create a model of typical swedish landscape and small villages during the 1950:s

Beautiful work. I know nothing of Sweden, but it is always great to see modeling from other parts of the world, and great modeling it is to, than North America.

Thanks for sharing, your posts help to motivate others.

I was born and raised in Kristianstad and spent my summers in Horna. That is last stop before the end of the line in Åhus, now "famous" for the train shipments of Absolut Vodka. I was there 1945 to 1980.

Thank you for kind words! There aren´t any of the rolling stock scratchbuilt but many of it is built from brass and white metal kits. During the last 10-15 years it has also been produced a lot of swedish models but none of mine are from Wenzel.

When and where did you live here in Skåne?

You have a wonderful layout, 1956, and you have posted many really fantastic pictures! It almost bring tears to my eyes to see these pictures and thinking of my childhood days along a branch line in Skåne.

How much of the locomotives and rolling stock is scratch built and where did you find the rest? Did I see an old Wentzel passenger car in one of the pictures?
