The next project I hope to finish for the 10th Anniv. Challenge is to convert a Bachmann N scale 70 tonner to HOn30. I have taken some preliminary steps, and will have photos shortly.

Things have ground to a halt. I have been distracted by other projects.

More sporadic progress. I decided to use Pollyscale CSX yellow for the frame. Here's how it looks.

Looking at the photos, I notice I need to do some touch up work inside the wells of the steps.

Next update will be ???

I like the current yellow quite a bit. With a little bit of weathering I think It'll look great.

I like the green/yellow. I do agree though, a different shade of yellow might be best.

Since the body is MEC Pine Tree Green, the Harvest Gold might just work.

Looking good!

You might consider a somewhat darker shade of yellow.... MEC "Harvest Gold" might work.

And yes, I really like the way the handrails have turned out!

A sidestep here. I decided to paint the frame yellow to see how it would look. I primed it with Testors yellow in a spray can.

I will paint the walkways green, and most likely paint the frame and pilots a different shade of yellow.

Yes, Bruce, I was surprised at how good they look.

Jeff,

The modified hand rails look like they belong there.

Cody,

I think I'll paint the walkway green and the frame and pilots yellow. Time will tell.
